i know, thats why i said they're similar because of their vocal timbre and tone colour, as well as the harmonies, which are extraordinarily reminiscent of those of queen.

I still can't see it. Mika's much more of a falsetto singer. And his tone colour is far brighter - christ, LISTEN to Grace Kelly.

Yeah the technique is pretty different. I mean Mercury was highly unorthodox in the way he sang. He actually sang "incorrectly." When Mika sings in chest voice, he can sound extraordinarily similar to Freddie, but using falsetto he's pretty different, agreed.
Also his phrasing is nearly identical to mercury's in many parts
