New Surrender was okay and Cities is a landmark release for me.
So, probably.

I feel like I should generalize the Anberlin comment into Stephen Christian in general

yeah - needs more outros for sure :D
you know they have the right drummer to be a hard rock/metal band...maybe get the guy they had on mmhmm (from The Showdown) to do some screaming lol
my fav songs are: don't need a soul, outro, over it, savannah, baby, if you believe me (so basically everything that sounds the least like relient k haha – except don’t need a soul which sounds like its from mmhmm)
I like how this album seems as if its sounds were taken from Jack’s Mannequin, The Starting Line and Mae. I feel like if you were a huge fan of mmhmm you really shouldn't be disappointed with this.

okay, in terms of the anberlin thing, i feel strongly that their Never Take Friendship Personal was by far the best...sorry to disagree, but that album is epic to me. AND i actually enjoy oh gravity more than any other switchfoot album. just thought it was a good development of their sound and lyrical/musical ideas.
