The songs aren't really explained that well either, you just repeated the idea that they have great opening riffs.

I don't think the wolf is loose and iron tusk are that similar. In fact, I play guitar, and know both of these songs, and the guitar parts are very different and in different tunings.

If they sound the same, they sound the same. Doesn't matter how they're played or what tuning they're in. Sepultura's "Spit" has a main riff that sounds like Metallica's "St. Anger". Doesn't mean they're at all played in the same way.
