Ten is and always will be their magnum opus. Every song on that record is kickass and it has a lot more to it than just being a straight up grunge album. This is very good too, though, I much prefer it to some of their more recent stuff.

Yea even though I prefer VS to Ten, saying its uninspired is ridiculous. Even the simple songs like Oceans and Release are fucking life long keepers bro, Porch anyone? But Ten and VS are really the only times where they play hard rockers that I really like. Now when they play heavier songs they are IMO the weaker songs.

I have not been a huge fan of any Pearl Jam album other than Ten. Once is still my favorite song by PJ. But this album straight up rocks.
