As I've said before: This album has no repetition in lyrics, it just follows a storyline; it's like each song is a chapter of a story.
Though the messages are good, and they have some good lyric moments [like the one you mentioned, Nizno], most of the text is pretty generic, no doubt.
They're like my second or third favorite band, but that doesn't make me loose my objectivity.

All my friends love this band, there so terribal, ugh, i hate his voice. The only song i like by them is not on this album, its on one-x and its called over and over.

Honestly, three days grace is one of my favorite bands. I've only heard three days grace on the radio once,
How is this possible?

A decent album but some songs are really bad.
"Last To Know" is really good.

Good life is okay.

Heard 3dg on the radio once. Never too late comes on ALL THE TIME. It still does.

tbh this band sucks huge balls.
I had the displeasure of having to sit through them live last month while 12,000 screaming idiots thought they were the best thing since the word blumpkin became famous.
The only credit they have is that the singer is incredible. He sounds EXACTLY live as on CD.

I heard they were good live

This would be the better album if it came out in 2003 and didn't exactly replicate their first two albums.
|
| |
or, better song-writing would also help

Uh, the lyrics could also use some work. Its all the same, pretty much every song, pain, loss, and more pain.

i just found it bland. it seems like every song is crafted the same way, getting less and less interesting with each successive album...

Agreed^

ya I've realized that this band is one of my most hated ever.
|
| |
Wow, i just listened to their first album and its actually pretty good. Too bad they couldnt keep that direction going.

I liked this quite a bit at first, it's worn off some now. This is still a step up from One-X, musically. The instrumental breaks/guitar solos on this album help this album a lot. The problems with this album are mainly Adam's vocals. It's great that they tried mid-tempo songs and ballads, but a couple songs would have benefited from Adam toning down his voice and not using his signature strained vocal style, like the the end of Last to Know, it should've stayed a piano song.

I agree about the bass line in "Break".

I suppose it's OK, "The Good Life" has become very annoying though. Apparently, "No More" is so unmemorable that I keep forgetting that song even exists.

"Break" and "World So Cold" are great songs, though.

I need to reevaluate this, I don't think I like it as much as I did originally. Some of these songs are still pretty good though.
