great review. I'm glad I finally "get" this album. The main thing that keeps it from being a 5 for me is that the rhythm to each song is exactly the same (well, at least like 75% of the time): straight quarter notes on the guitar. It's like the indie equivalent of Unearth chugging their way through 10 tracks on one of their albums. I mean, I love Unearth, but that's what keeps their best stuff from 4.5 and 5 ratings to me.
Still, amazing album.
