Good review. Great album. I just pre-ordered it on vinyl, but I have to wait an extra month until my birthday when I get my record player. It's going to be a long month...

I didn't like it too much. The lyrical content and music took a drop, theres too many mediocre tracks among only a few great ones. I'll probably bump it to a 3.5, but not much higher.

The vinyl sounds intriguing though...

I want to be objective as possible here, but looking at the user ratings, how the hell does anyone justify lower than a 3 for this? I just don't get it. This is probably my Album of the Year so far. For once, the hype wins.

Dougie, you should've listened to me.

Oh well. Both TDAGARIM and Deja Entendu are masterpieces. Fight Off Your Demons is the "unknown" gem, with some lyrics better than TDGARIM's. YFW isn't as good as these previous records, but it's certainly better and more original than this record.

Congrats on discovering a great band tho. If you like this, you should definitely check out Nirvana and Modest Mouse discographies more deeply too.

it's funny the concept of "if you love the band, you'll love this" that I feel from some ubber brand

new fans. i love all their previous records. except this, it happens.

Oh great. Fine. Let's only post about something when it's positive.

No, that wasnt why I was banned over ap. Long story short Jason Tate is an asshole. People aren't even allowed to say what they think about this record there without getting banned. I know better, of course I didn't even talk about Brand New over there. I was banned for things I didn't do (aka younger asshole brother).
