Dear All:
The 69 eyes is on of my fav bands, about some of us here saying they
always been crap, maybe u dont like the band or its thier style
but they aren't crap, the issue here that maybe this is the first review for them here in the site & actually they aren't that famous outside finland & europe.
Unfortunatlly the album reviewed here is the worst album for them, the album is thier first album with Nuclear blast which in my opinion may affect
the band originally played music type.
In the album i think they are turnning to be very commericial maybe to find more fans in the US "First entry to US this year" but this is not reasonable
at all.
Now Forgetting about the new album
Back to thier album released in 2000 - Blessed Be - this album is one of the
best gothic rock albums ever
Wasting the dawn album in 1997 featuring Ville Vallo HIM frontman is a very good album also,
I'm not that much into thier albums berfore 1997
Albums following Blessed Be 2000 - are good albums "Paris Kills, Devils, Angels"
Sorry, i can't tell a similar band, they have thier own taste, if you wanna give them a try with "Blessed Be" album & if you dont have time for a whole album, try Framed in blood or gothic girl although the band may have music variation throughout single album
