Everybody downloads these days. It doesn't matter.

Yeah but Sputnik don't wanna be associated with pirating so...

True, but this concerns an album that is probably not widely available as a physical copy/paid download.

You make a compelling argument, hard to say really

Cool. You saw the link to their albums on the first page; right?
|
| |
i have now. how nice of the band to give their albums out for free; hopefully it doesn't mean the albums suck though lol

No, they don't suck at all - especially the last three (Reason, Manic Impressions, Screams & Whispers). The band were signed to Metal Blade Records for all four of their albums, so after they broke up and the contract/rights to those albums expired the band just decided to give them away.

I won't give them to it. This will do for me.

Did you check out any Anacrusis over the weekend?

I checked out Scream and Whispers, which was great, but just a bit too repetitive for my liking. It got uninteresting towards the end, although Brotherhood? was a highlight.

Good review sir, I was expecting Testament TBH. Newsted is incredible and so is this album. The bass break in the middle of Metalshock rules bigtime!!

Yeah, the latter part of that album gets a little to atmospheric and experimental for some people. When you have a chance you should try Manic Impressions. It's a better album, IMO. Newsted is incredible and so is this album. The bass break in the middle of Metalshock rules bigtime!! This is the album that proves how bad Metallica blew it by not making better use of him.

^definitely. I was surprised by the bass here since I heard AJFA first. I'm not too pumped for checking out S&W, the band didn't manage to impress me that much. Maybe later.

Such a great album. Everyone who thinks that Newsted is not a very good bass player should listen to
this album.

Tell 'em brother!
