the Tree is progressive sex on drugs. No bands are that similar to the pax, But check out The Coma Recovery who are similar enough, They're kinda what would happen if God Is An Astronaut went Post-Hardcore.

While it's obvious that you joined this site for the sole purpose of ridiculing the Pax Cecilia, I admire your criticism. I wrote this review on a different account and I was half-expecting it to be hated, but not so eloquently.
To swoon in the throes of inspiration might seem tempting at first, but one gets all too easily caught up in its seductions.
I like that, I really, really do. Any writer should heed this advice.
About the philosophical name-drops, this album is obviously multi-dimensional, I see no reason why two conflicting ideals (slightly conflicting, really) can't co-exist in the same art.

That doesn't discredit anything you've said, I only mentioned that because it's a practice all too common on this site. Anyway, I've taken into account all of your criticism, and thanks for pin-pointing that particular problem..."rhapsodic delivery" to be specific, because it's something my writing has suffered from for a long time. By the way, I think you should submit a review, your taste seems unique.

"If you truly want to gaze skyward and attain to the Holy of Holies, then listen to Gustav Holst's entire Planets series. I assure you that will be more edifying."
Are you fucking kidding me?

Oh haha I didn't read the review. It just seemed extremely unnecessary.

Anyone know where to get this in better quality? I'm all for free stuff, but the quality is grating on me ever the slightest.

They only put it out in 192kbs MP3. But you can find lossless rips of the CD online.

I Know, I'm more of a 256-320kbps man myself, and I can't get my zune to read flac.

You can get the FLAC and down convert it to 320kbs MP3 with VLC media player or Audacity (both free).
Zunes and iPods can't play FLAC (well, iPod's can if you hack them.)

the Tree is quite possibly my favourite instrumental song ever and that's saying a lot considering a fair deal of my music is instrumental.
