This album starts on a high-note and gets even more unrelenting throughout...
Not as fast and varied as early D.E.P. but there are similarities.
I thought everyone knows Rorschach, especially if they love Shai Hulud.

What is their connection to Shai Hulud?

Great band, I still need to acquire this album though.
You've reviewed some fine albums already; great choices, even though I disagree with your Meshuggah review a tad.

Album Rating: 4.0
yeah i am going to give it two separate ratings in the review, one as more of an album review and another as a collection review, since it BARELY functions as an album and at 76 minutes is hard to stomach at once

About time this got a review.
Amazing album...CRIMINALLY unknown band. If only people realized that the beloved Converge and Coalesce gained a lot of their notoriety through opening for Deadguy shows.
|
| |
They're not really criminally unknown.
Just never mentioned.

fun fact: no
|
| |
most people who listen to "old school" metalcore and a decent amount of 90s hardcore know about deadguy
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.0
the problem lies right there
not enough people listen to 90s hardcore and old school metalcore
