I gave many of their more well-known songs a listen, but I just can't seem to get into this band.

i like this album but only to a certain extent. i feels too repetitive about halfway through but caliban does metalcore right i'd say. metalcore seems to be even more unappealing these days......

I think this isn´t their best effort at all.
The Awakening was a lot better in y opinion,because their wasn´t so much clean vocals on the album.The clean vocals ruin it for me on this album(just listen to Liar which woul be a good song if there wouldn´t be the unfitting cleanvox).
The screams have gotten better in my opinion but in general it´s not their best album

Caliban's clean vocals have always ruled. But The Opposite From Within was their best album i'd say. Band seriously needs to hit America sometime.

Cleans are sick but I just love the screams, easily some of my favourites in modern metalcore.

Album is soo good. End This Sickness is officially my new jam.

But about Caliban, these guys are underrated when it comes to contemporary metalcore.

Probably because most of the world would rather listen to shit metalcore (KsE, Asking Alexandria) Plus their german, people still hating on the Nazi's
