these guys are my favorite band right now and probably will be for a long time. it's a great album. o, and somebody tell me if the seven ways to scream your name ep is good, i might go out and buy it
It has a different style, more emo-core than emo (at least compared to this record). A bit rougher, great stuff. 10:45 Amsterdam Conversation is on it, This years most open heartbreak, Art of American Football etc.

If you find a store that holds it, I would get it.

I finally listened to this over the weekend. Though their were some good tracks ("Rookie Of The Year," "Storytelling," "Your Revolution Is A Joke," "Escape Artists Never Die"), but the CD pretty much bored me. Good review though.
am i the only one that found this CD a little boring?

i got it at christmas, and only listen to a few tracks from it.

the EP was much better IMHO.

anyways, nice review.
I agree. I listened to it about 5 times in total. I mean, it's definitely not that bad but it's not great either.

Their best song to date has to be 10 scene points to the winner, they released it as a B side i believe to one of their album singles. That song reminds me of slayer so much.

This album is really great. My fave songs are 'Juneau', 'Escape Artists Never Die', 'She Drove Me To Daytime TV', 'Red Is The New Black' and the acoustic song 'Your Revolution Is A Joke'. Its a shame that 'Hours was such a comedown. Not as many gr8 songs.

This was good stuff. Nothing new or groundbreaking on here (even as far as FFAF go), but it's an enjoyable CD, with some pretty good production.

Its an easy listen....and with the taste in music I have, sometimes an easy listen is what you need to relax. Good, honest, no frills whateveryouwannacallitcore.

First listening to the CD it was kinda boring, but i got used to it and became one of my favorite CDs to listen to. I must have listened to the CD through about 6 or 7 times on the way to florida. The only thing i didnt like though was the first song, it started off great than went into a completely different sound, which through me off but still a great CD

You should listen to this album once and once again to get into FFAF, because their style of music is very unique and also in my opinion very hard. The greatest song of this record is clearly "Escape Artists Never Die", I don't know why Damrod don't recommend this song, but it's the best piece of music I listened to some months ago.

Still nice review Damrod.

Good album, I like Hours a little more though, Juneau is a great song, so is Your Revolution Is A Joke.

the only song i dont like from this album is "your revolution is a joke" it comes across so sissy like after the power of the rest of the album. i really like this album though, as far as emo or whatever goes, this is the best you can get, even if i dont like emo. The guitarists are really the main reason i like the band.

You probably shouldn't have said "emo" like 100 times. It began to sound stupid.
I enjoy this album. I like Red Is The New Black, and She Drove Me... and some other songs. Too bad they changed Juneau, the original hardcore version was way better.

I listened to this album when I was 12, for me it will always be an amazing classic. Definately somewhere near the top of my collection.
