Andy is an idiot for thinking that's even worth looking at, much less that it's funny. But it's not his fault, he didn't write the article...*is ready to hunt down the author* I agree with smc. Personally I much prefer the self-titled over Armistice, but it's definitely not a bad album, Mute Math is incapable of producing such. But having Spotlight on Twilight definitely didn't do anything for them because it gets them so much crap from everyone who hates it, so they get written off pretty quickly by a lot of people..

Dynamic Louisiana-based rockers Mutemath follow up their impressive debut LP with another solid outing in 'Armistice'. Taking a slight turn towards accessibility, the quartet still include a sufficient amount of their unique fusion of genres to distinguish themselves sound-wise. There's a groovy - almost dancey - feel to many of these tunes, which when put together with Paul Meany's smooth vocals, recalls 90s funk band Jamiroquai. Even without the usual instrumentals, the album unfortunately doesn't quite hold up to the very end, nor does it reach the heights of its predecessor. Recommended Tracks: Spotlight, Backfire, Goodbye & No Response.

I've always felt like I love this album way more than people here.

Heard this after a long time, and damn is it bland compared to the debut.

Burden kicks ass. The final instrumental part of that song that leads in to the drum solo is so good. One of my favorite songs of theirs.
Pins and Needles and the title track are great too.
