|

summer of '11
there was a bunch of us, including KILL, Sonic, and others who may or may not post anymore
we posted around 70 pages worth of comments in the thread for Diamond Head's first album in like a few days or a week or so
and they are all gone now :[ it was a sad day for the metal

if you dig the first four Talking Heads albums and don't hate live recordings, this is essential.
great sounding mixes.
|
| |
Great energy on this.
|
| |
Studio vs. live Talking Heads might as well be different bands. I personally am not a fan of the studio albums. The live performances are far superior in every way. The energy is off the charts.

I like this although, I know this is bad, but like studio Heads over this, sacrilege I know

like the review said, studio heads vs live ones are like day and night. prefer the claustrophobic paranoia of the studio remain in light but I just absolutely love the bright shiny energy of the songs on here. Also, as far as the non RIL tracks from disc 2, psycho killer, cities, drugs (electricity), and life during wartime are real standouts

fair enough for sure, I will recheck disc 2, I usually like live stuff, I like this but what they do in the studio is unreal
