^ The best part of that post was the "Trust me, I was there" at the end. It only served to highlight the stupidity of the rest of it.
How were Nirvana BEFORE punk? Since punk started in the 70's I'm finding it hard to see your point here.
No, punk didn't really start in the 70s... ROCK started in the 70s... people are so quick to mix the two. Punk is.. punk is just different, in my opinion anyways... I see Eddie Vedder as one of the truely first original punks.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Yeah that song rocks. Ever since I heard it I refer to anything radio friendly that I don't like as a "Radio friendly unit shifter."

Use just once and destroy

^^ That's what I asked but I got no answer...

If you want to get technical, Rock N' Roll actually started in the 50's.

Eddie Vedder ?, as in the Eddie Vedder that is in Pearl Jam and that Scott Stapp gets accused of ripping off all of the time? Because if so, your post has just officially swept any competition away to take its rightful place as the dumbest thing I have ever heard, seen, or read.

Anyway, I'd have to say that at best this is a 2.5, but that's being generous. I'd be inclined to say 1.5 or 2. I guess I'm just not a fan of Nirvana. That whole 3 powerchord, 4 note solo thing just doesn't work for me. *is a guitar snob*

Edit: Excuse me, their songs usually have 4 powerchords, not 3.

^It's not just the lack of complexity that makes me not like them. That's just a convenient excuse for my underlying gripe.......I just don't like 'em.
