yeah i dunno i just feel when i listen to this i should be wearing one of those flat-billed caps and brocore wifebeaters while literally spitting the lyrics through my 12 lip peircings. and i hate those kids. but i can't help liking this a lot.

It will be really interesting how this album ages. My thoughts/rating of this album wildly fluctuated. First impression was WTF & subsequent listens made it go up from a 3 to the 4 range. It then eventually settled on a 3.5. But I have to admit that while I was writing the review, I felt like I was writing a 4 review.

True. But the last time you mentioned the Splendour bands who were "sexxxy", you did not LIST them... So I had to presume they were just run of the mill.



You're a lucky boy to get to see them before they had their little accident. You must have shown your sporting skills and caught one of the singers before they crashed to the crowd.

I enjoy this album. But it feels a bit... jumbled together. I love albums that feel like they were deliberately constructed and this doesn't seem to be one of them.

"Jumbled together"? Maybe. I didn't really get that feeling Adam & like the way the predominantly instrumental opener & closer bookend the LP.



But I do have a possible explanation for you. The band had apparently released an EP (at least 2 of the songs on here were on it) and 3 of the singles before this album was even put together. That's pretty much half the album done before it was constructed. So you could very well have a point.
