Yes, that is kind of ridiculous. Priest have never been about the lyrics anyways, but sometimes they're just presented in a way that they are very annoying.

Imo a 2.5 for it is fitting. Also it is pretty lol that during the last couple of Priest reviews I have always said "this rating should be quite accurate" but i have no Priest albums rated myself hahaha

Great review as usual! however we seem to disagree quite a bit. This is my very favourite priest album, not one second of this album is skippable and it all works so well. Hellrider would have to be my favourite, i'm possibly. It's probably my favourite because this was my first priest album apart from the 'essential collection'.
I respect your opinion tho, pos.

Even though Priest are my favorite band I'll still be the first to acknowledge they write pretty lousy lyrics, but every now and again they'll write some solid material; I feel "Angel" is one of their best (and I'm not saying it's only good by their standards, I think it's a solid song lyric-wise and overall in-general). Obviously their pre-Killing Machine/Hell Bent For Leather records have their best lyrics, but again, they still write some good lyrics here and there ("Electric Eye" is another that comes to mind).
As for Nostradamus, I'll save my full thoughts for your actual review or for whenever I write my own, but I personally like the album a bit (I don't like it a lot, but I do think it's overall a good, solid effort).
