I remember a while ago Alexi saying something like Hatebreeder being a "hospital clean" type record, so they recorded FTR with the intention of it being dirtier sounding.



I'm not just going by what he said, I just think that the distortion and riffing was much cleaner on Hatebreeder

But the vocals were a lot dirtier and harsher



As far as distortion goes, they aren't that different.

When I think of Hatebreeder I think of a smaller compressed sounding album.



FTR is just bigger sounding, and has more of a pure wall of sound effect in certain areas, thus making for an overall "dirtier" souding album

Children of Boredom nowadays... but back way back when they did release some very good albums, this being a notable addition to any metal fans library of music.

Blooddrunk really isn't as bad as people make it out to be. It is their weakest but I wouldn't exactly call it "bad." It's a pretty solid 3/5 for me.
