It is indeed DavID.... Well described in your usual manner.
I really like 'Change'. In fact, I won't lie, I'd have it in my top 20 songs of the year at this stage. Probably won't end up there come December though.

Would be in my top 100 maybe

I'll take that as a semi-agreement since I am certain you have heard many more 2009 albums than I have.
I presume you have yet to hear this particular album, but if you have, what's your approximate rating?

Haha. Now now Rudy.
If you "love Ronson", you will find something to like here. But think more his other pop-soul projects rather than 'Version', which I presume is more what you are referring to.

nice stuff, havent seen you around here lately. really working on those bdb reviews, i guess?

You haven't been looking hard enough Robin. I did disappear for half of May & all of June, while I was on vacation in Europe. But I've been here slaving away & reviewing since the start of July mate. But no, you haven't missed any Badly Drawn Boy. One day... Maybe. Haha.

Haven't heard this Champ Kind, but I do love me some Marky Mark Ronson.

Steady ready to wreck shop, another rough kid from the streets,
don't step on my crew, coz if ya walk through you'll get stood up,
watch blood spit up, hit ya wit a blow to the back of ya head, you won't get up.
Hang on a tick, that wasn't Ronson.
|

haha I really really couldn't think of any feedback so I just said 'Good Job', I'll try be more creative next time round.

No "next time round" about it... Do it now Croc. I'm here to make you think. If in doubt, quote Marky Mark. You can't go wrong that way.

Well, that's a bit narrow-minded Billy. I mean, the guy is an Aussie... a Melbournian... from out your way even (sort of). Expand your horizons. You're like a bombers defender storming out of the backline... You have tunnel vision & can only see Ben Cousins in your path.
|
| |
i'll personally search you out and kill you if you mention the footy again this week.
oh and soul pop = definitly not my thing
annnd im all post rockish at the moment, its great study music
|
| |
Haha I agree with Billy. I mean I JUST got round to listening to the Beatles and I've been blasting the Clash. I'm basically in a british frenzy!

Billy, the Bombers need more Zaharakis & less Lloydy. But deep down, I'd still love you to keep the hawks out of the finals.
Hey Croc, guess where Daniel Merriweather is based & has had all of his success? No, not Dandenong. Britain!
|
| |
haha you serious? well now i'm speechless!
|

Album Rating: 3.0
I'm fully serious... Merriweather has had all of his success in Britain. The eastern suburbs of Melbourne did nothing for him! :-)
