I knew this album wasn't going to be any good, they ruin most of the songs. Obviously it's a fairly fun record so I wont be too harsh. Just not generally too impressed by the band - personally

i dont know if the cost and lack of interesting (for me) bands will sway me there, if they do a sidewave i might go along.

Presumably inspired by the 'Punk goes ...' compilations, Four Year Strong have recorded a covers album, and - on paper - there is no problem with the intriguing tracklist of 'Explains It All'. Acting as a tribute to the band's surprisingly varied influences from the '90s, the attempt to infuse their pop-punk/melodic hardcore sound into each song is extremely hit & miss. The dual vocals & pace suit 'Semi-Charmed Life' perfectly, but most other tracks don't fare so well. While this passable 33 minute LP is fun & nostalgic in the moment, the majority of adaptations are simply not of a sufficiently high quality to keep you coming back. Recommended Tracks: Semi-Charmed Life, Absolutely (Story of a Girl) & She's So High.

Their album might not please everyone but I liked it. I love the way they did "Fly".

Album was fun.

They should have had the demo cover of "Dumpweed" by blink-182 as a bonus track. Kicks too much ass.
