Album Rating: 2.0
I know there was no reason to do this review, it was an easy album to quickly review mainly out of boredom. I'll admit I half-assed or rushed part of it, and didn't expect anyone to pay attention to my ALPOH review due to the last line.
To explain myself:
I blasted the Gunslinger country sound because it doesn't mix with a hardcore sound.
I said Lost wasn't experimental, and didn't use it positively with Afterlife. And the problem with all the orchestration is that they stuck it in for no reason, unlike The Wicked End. Sorry, should have made that clearer.
Plenty of people like the track-by-tracks. If you don't, there are plenty of other reviews.
The first paragraph was basically a quick bio starting point. And i figured that metalcore got big off Sevenfold and the rest of the O.C. Metalcore Scene, even though they didn't start it.
Brompton Cocktail was filler. They threw something together for a 10th song right before the deadline. Or at least that's how it sounds.

And also remember that everyone is biased, not just me. And most albums have plenty of reviews. Plus, the summary yells "Fanboy", so if you know you'd disagree with a huge CoE fan, why are you reading the review?
Plus, with the "detailed summary" review style, you can not only hear what I think of the album, but get enough information to make your own decision. So if you like what I said about Gunslinger, maybe it'll work for you.
Now I'll go away and let you rip me some more.
| | | Why did you choose to do a review for this album in particular? There was already well too many in the first place...
You should've done a negative Ghost Reveries review, that actually needs a different point of view
