Jermolajew, you made your point in your review. No sense being redundant.

Definitely solid review, Scorp. You may tired out your ocean analogy by the end, but it didn't hurt the review.

Pos. Also, you like this album a little too much.

haha yeah if i'd used that analogy one more time, i def would have crossed the line.

thanks for the pos...did the same for your review of course.

and yeah let's just agree to disagree. i don't want another argument like the one with Redd haha.

Haha, I definitely think that this is not ABR's magnum opus. If they continue this way, next album, maybe, but certainly not this one.

well...it is their best album by far. and i think i made a good case for why it's a great album in the context of today's metalcore.

you just don't like metalcore enough! ha

Messengers put me to sleep. The Eleventh Hour and Backburner ruled hard though.

My review is the long one, Scorpion's is the one about oceans, and Jermalojew's is the one that doesn't have commas.

Mine! haha but seriously Caleb's and mine are both pretty good i think. More people seem to agree with Caleb though. But i have better analogies : )

"with the effect of a raging tsunami on a calm summer's night at the beach"...Are you sure it will live up to this?

yes in a couple of instances, most definitely. i'll let you find them for yourself however rather than telling you where to look.

It's true, I don't even mention a hurricane in my review.

but hurricanes are so br00000tal! they're a necessary ingredient to any respectable metalcore review! ha

"There are a galaxy’s worth of metal bands active today. But stare at all of those stars long enough and some lines start to form; everything starts to take shape. The Constellations begin to bloom. Constellations will make good on the promise of the past two years, and will serve as proof-positive that August Burns Red’s success is no mere solar flare-up. This supernova’s here to stay."

The intro's a bit generic/cliche, but the rest of the review is great, albeit a tad fanboyish.

yeah it's exaggerated decadence makes all my analogies sound so inadequate and weak...
