There isn't really any diversity on this album, but it's a barrage of fairly technical, brutal metal.
From what I heard about this band, I thought it was going to suck hard. I was suprised-- not bad at all, but nothing amazing.

This is like the biggest disappointment of the year for me so far... they were really better as a deathcore band, they suck at regular death metal or tech death.

meh, I dunno why people don't like this, its pretty good. Ive heard a lot more boring death Metal praised here. The only problem with them is that their vocalist is very monotone when he goes into low growls. They also need to improve on creating more of an album vibe then 10 songs that run into each other.

Sounds like decapitated?
No. Just no.
Maybe a 3 or so I'm thinking so far... even though genesis was boring it has some cooler moments were there was a bit of a break in the riffing and they grooved... but this is so far sounding too much like they want it to be as busy and "technical" as possible.

They're not deathcore, they barely have any core influence left at all. And nopers, gonna have to disagree with you, Decapitated is the shit. Though their last album, and to some extent The Negation was kind of "meh".
