There's no Martini Kiss on this E.P
Haha, your right. Martini Kiss is gonna be on Let It Enfold You.

This album was wayyyy better than Let it Enfold You. However, they both suck.

Terrible vocals, lyrics, and musically unintresting. Senses Fail actually fits the crappy pop punk label that Drive-Thru has on it.

this ep has some of my favorite senses fail songs: one eight seven, handguns and second chances, and Steven(it tells a sad story)

i agree with the ratings completely(by the original reviewer)

Sorry, but i can't get past the really annoying vocals in this band. This EP wasn't even that great musically to me, either.

It gets a 2.5/5 for me, for being only mediocre.

I like it a lot, but Let it Enfold You is a masterpiece.

who cares about the lyrics? wow...

Anyway, I don't know what to think about senses fail. I own both albums, but I bought them both on a whim. I find the EP to be better than Let It Enfold You. Buddy's lyrics just wear on me after a couple listens, so neither disc spends much time in my cd player at one time.

And his voice as well...that wears on me too.

His voice does get annoying sometimes, actually a lot.

Only real bad thing I consider about the band. Plus, I hear he gets drunk at their shows and he forgets lyrics when he's like that. Although I hope not since I'm gonna see thim Nov. 13.

drive thru has succeeded in not getting a pop punk band...instead they settled on a crappy emo band. i had the unfortunate experience of seeing them cuz they were opening for someone else and they suck. they sound like crap live

yea, why does it matter if the lyrics are good or not if the song is good. also, its your opinion that the lyrics are bad, so not everyone will agree with you. i personally like the lyrics. anyway, nice reveiw, i liked it

Ugh, I can't believe I used to like this. I think that it now deserves a 1.5 out of 5, but Let It Enfold You is probably a 3.5 out of 5 for me.

Buddy's lyrics are incredible. "Free Fall.." is one of my favorite songs in the world. if you're into good emo.. not fall out boy/MCR bullshit.. you should probably like these. and "187," though popular is extremely good/vulgar. if anyone has ever experienced depression and are well-engaged in poetry, than the lyrics would appeal to them. you just need a certain taste. these lyrics also would appeal more to like 14-18 year olds than anyone.

the drumming is excellent on every track as well.

(martini kiss is on the new album Kif, but that is indeed a quite poetic and fucking amazing song.)

One of my favorite bands hands down
While i think that judging a band shoul be based on music forst an lyrics secon, we all have our own mindset when it comes to music
Some people chime more into the how well lyrically a song is written more than the sound but i dont think that i could ever dislike a band simply if i didnt like the lyrics, especially if the MUSIC sounded good
I mean if a song SOUNDS good then its easy to not pay attention the what exactly theyre singing about especially if he music is really good
I personally love the way buddy writes his songs and think a lot of his lyrics stand are amazing
But then again, thats just me
It all just depends on your mindset
but i say that if you're gonna be into emo/screamo type music then dont complain when they sing emotional lyrics or scream
This is a very good cd for fans of this genre
Its one of my favorite cds/bands

I just got this EP today and it kicks ass.

also on the lyrics debate. i write songs as a hooby whenever i get an idea and really even without a idea of the music behind it it is hard to write a song that doesnt sound like a ripoff or may be good so dont bash bands abotu lyrics enless u r in a band that has a record deal and no one talks $hi7 about your lyrics
