this is a good album, the vocals took a little bit of time for me to get used to (especially since i started listening to Arch Enemy when Angela became vocalist). but still, this is a brutal cd.This Message Edited On 09.05.07

In my opinion there is nothing wrong with this album, as far as musicianship is concerned. The guitar work is spot on, the drums are more than effective and the song structures themselves really do fit well. The vocals aren't exactly the highlight of the album, but still aren't shockingly bad either to be honest. A great debut album for the band that set the standard for future albums.
