its alright for TITD standards, but its really not the best starting point for the band. its almost like the beginning of their "downfall", mostly because its sorta try hard compared to their first 4 albums. check out willpower of temple of the morning star instead.
also yeah the cover art is pretty odd looking. its like they took a picture from a video game and pasted it to a black and red swirl made in gimp in like 5 minutes.
if you look closely at the head you can see pixels or some shit lol
