I might still check this out, though the single is truly awful so maybe not.

Lol, it's times like these when I am thankful for illegal downloads, it means I don't have to waste £12 on this crap.

So I'm listening to this now and *Shock horror* I kinda like it, the band have definately matured since Take To The Skies.
Edit: not sure if it is as good though

This is a difficult album to rate and what not. At times you feel like they really matured and got better after Take To The Skies, and then others it seems like they've only gotten worse.
Where I stand at this point, overall, I feel they've gotten a hell of a lot better and matured in many ways. It's an entertaining listen, just like TTTS.
Don't know where I'm at with Rou's vocals though. I like that he's not screaming anymore, because his screams are/were terrible, but some of the things he's decided to do with his vocals this time around is just weird, and they don't sound very good at all.
Whatever. This album is good, it's a fun listen. Don't ask why, because I have no clue why, but I like it a lot...which is pretty much exactly the way it is with TTTS, and this band in general. They're not all that great in the grand scheme of things, but I like them anyway.

Second time round wasnt as good as the first, this is only average, vox bring it down a lot.

Vox are terrible on both albums

this band is just crap

Amazing how many people are able to rate an album before even hearing it. Wow, that's talent! Album is very different from ttys, and it's very good, getting favourable reviews as well, although they are by reviewers who lack the telepathic abilities of many Sputnik reviewers

Amazing how you're buttsore by a few negative things here, despite the fact you're confident they haven't even heard it, so why should it bother you?
I personally heard the first few tracks and liked a riff, shockingly, but the vocals... Jesus Christ they're worse than on Take To The Skies.

Amazing how the album was streaming last week so anybody who was interested could actually listen to it for free. I did so and deduced that this album was godawful. The vox suck horribly, like on Skies- they would actually seriously be more listenable with a good vocalist- but also the instrumentation is lacklustre too.

As if their desperation to be seperated from the mass of boring predictable screamo/whatevercore bands wasn't evident enough with the superficial preset synth gimmicks slapped on top of their middle of the road sound, now they're trying to be political ina way that makes green day look like knowledgable.

typically, i enjoy spoken vocals in songs, regardless of what the accent is. but in this album, it is sort of annoying.

Really don't get all the hate here, these guys have matured a lot since Take to the Skies.
|
| |
in this album his singing/screaming is sort of annoying as well

I don't know this album does kinda suck the fat one, but im kinda digging "havoc A" there one of the few occasions that the spoken vocals work well. And the beat is kinda "groovy"
Are you fucking stupid? 'Common Dreads' by Enter Shikari is one of the best albums I've heard in my life, how can you give it 5/10? Is it too hardcore for you 'indie' ponces? Not only is your magazine becoming shitter but you're employing people who don't have any taste in music!
