this album is really awesome. a few songs that i found that intrigued me were the weakest, playing with fire , and miss behavin'.

I don't see the Thursday clone thing.
They are their own band, not some clone. They have their own sound, a very enjoyable one at that. And yes, the sing/scream is what they do best, so if you want them to stick to that yet complain about how they "tirelessly" overuse this formula in their follow-up album, it sounds like you should just stick with the debut and be happy with that.
This is an incredible effort, and when you try to hit their notes with the same intensity as they put forth, you can really see how much hear they put into their music.
