I was just reading a little bit about the band and apparently they used to have a different vocalist. Does anyone know if she's on any of their recordings?

I think the demo tapes. This is a early version of Give You My All from Reach with the original vocalist. She's hot but too nasally and cocky.

Hey, I found the answer:
When Silence Is Broken, The Night Is Torn is the debut EP by the metalcore band Eyes Set to Kill. This was the only album to feature Lindsey Vogt as lead vocalist and Alex Torres as the second guitarist.[1] Three songs from the album ("Liar In The Glass", "Darling", "Young Blood Spills Tonight") were re-recorded for their debut album, Reach following her departure in 2007. I have this but haven't really paid a lot of attention to it... now I need to.

She sucks. Take it however you want. She is hot though.

You have never seen her play live then. She doesn't suck, trust me.

She isn't too bad on the actual When Silence is Broken EP (I'm re-listening to it right now). Actually, you could say that this album brings back some of the metal from that EP because it's pretty heavy in spots.

This band is horrible. they all strike me as a bunch of scene kid wanna-be's. ughh
and the singing seems to never match the music. like it feels out of key (and out of time) occasionally. but maybe that's just me. particularly the single

I like the heavier direction ESTK are going in but I can't get over how weak the vocals are. Especially the screams.

This band is horrible. they all strike me as a bunch of scene kid wanna-be's. This pretty much disqualifies your opinion. Who cares what they look like or what they want to be?I like the heavier direction ESTK are going in but I can't get over how weak the vocals are. Especially the screams. If you dislike the screams now, you'd hate them on earlier releases. I like her vocals though. I don't think a powerful vocalist with a huge range would work here.

Once again staking Willie as the Clint Eastwood of sputnik. The old-school late 60's early 70's western kind.

ugh this tries to be all loud and manly but it ends up being really really weaksauce. at least when they do the annoying -core shit.
when they concentrate on being more punk with the pop edge it's all fine and awesome and reminds me of cool bands like Paramore and Funeral for a Friend, but their metal/screaming edge just cocks things up

but trey 3.8 rounds up to 4 surely
i may have to check these guys out
