The question as a whole is a better album. But this album def. has their best songs to date.

I just gave this a listen and it was cool but I don't see what is so special about it

good review. album rules but i don't think they'll ever make an album as complete as the question.

I took a look at their previous two albums and this blows them out of the water, are any of the e.ps'/earlier releases worth getting?

the weak's end is great, but i don't think it's their best like most emery fans do. the vocals, especially the screams, on that album are a little too underdeveloped for my taste.

the question has a much more mature sound, and the screams, while still generic, are much better. their song structures have always been kind of all over the place, and the question is when they hit their prime with that in my opinion.

i'm only a man is boring, bland, and their worst album by far. it's got a few good songs, and "don't bore us (get to the chorus)" is one of their best songs. but otherwise, stay away from that one.

the while broken hearts prevail ep is good, but the best songs are on this album too so it's not really worth getting.

i pretty much like it.

it surprised me kind of, cause i did not expect _this_.

such a big, stunning, grown-but-still-aggressive record...

it even grows with every rotation.

not inevitable for a classical post hardcore album, imo.

also very nice cover .)

pretty much satisfied with emery =)

Good record. I'm not a fan of Cutthroat Collapse though. Maybe if the screams were better...

can't wait to check this out. 1st track destroys anything they've ever done.

everyone's raving about cutthroat collapse but it's not even in the top 5 on this album imo. the smile, the face is one of my favorite emery songs. it's up there with fractions and listening to freddie mercury.

in a win, win situation is one of my favorite album closers ever but that's the only other emery song that's close to ruling as much as cutthroat collapse, at least to me

in related news i officially love this

I'm glad that Emery is back to their old style. I still need to give these album a couple more complete listens, though. For now I'm thinking a 4 is about right.
