Nice review
Did you just compliment my review, do you know who this is?

Obviously. Your name isn't exactly that deceiving.

Are you ok? I was under the impression that you hated my writing.

@ bodom
their ep is even better than this, don't listen to Zipper.
@ zipper
Wtf, there is no metalcore here AT ALL. You must be hearing shit because I definitely hear thrash, I hear melodeath and there is this kind of nice progressive side to all this, but here certainly is no metalcore. Oh and the guitarwork is just so much better on The Supreme Oppressor, this is good too, but it has not got that something special The Oppressor had
Oh and don't get me wrong, I do like the vocals, they just aren't THAT brilliant

No the vocals are not that brilliant, but Iwas referring to the clean sections, which are in fact, incredible.

Album Rating: 4.0
yaah you are right on the clean sections, they rule, but everything else I said, I stand my ground for them

Idk I'll give TSO a few more listens but it seemed so straightforward. CoaA was much more explorative and unique.

Album Rating: 4.0
i have the exact opposite feeling about these two albums but w/e.
Btw you know what's fun, the fact that I brought the rating for this down 0.1 and you, you bastard brought the rating for TSO down a whole 0.2. Bastard, I demand justice TSO was better than just a mere 3.8

Peace, I might change my rating after a few listens. I must admit, Turbulence is my favorite song by them, period.

how can you dislike "Manipulation Through Idols" and "Blind Desperation" though is totally beyond me, those track rule face
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
I didn't say I disliked them, they just didn't present themselves as anything of a standout, however the guitar work on Manipulation is brutal.
|
| |
I just listened to a few songs from this band and they were pretty awesome. Kind of reminded me of a thrashier version of All That Remains. I'll try to download this soon.

There ya go, Metalstyles a metalcore reference, I'm not the only one.
|
| |
I agree with metalstyles there is really no metalcore here
but it is good

Album Rating: 4.0
yaah I actually mean it like that, not that you don't like them but that you don't find them special (sorry you know english is not my first language so when it gets a lil late I may have sometimes problems regarding self-expression). And yeah the guitarwork on Manipulation is brutal and I love that epic ending in Blind Desperation
|
| |
I heard a little bit of metalcore. It was mostly in the vocals though. The guitars were pretty much all melo-death/thrash.

Pretty much everything they do is epic. Btw, that Ventana album is the most played thing on my iPod right now.

NO METALCORE, KYZAR AND I KNOW WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT, HAWKS KNOWS ONLY DEATH AND BLACK METAL HE DOESN'T GET THIS KIND OF COMPLEX MUSIC ALL THAT WELL
|
| |
I'm fine. I've never said I hate your writing full stop. Just a couple of your reviews didn't work for me. This is definitely one of your better ones though.
|
| |
Hahahaha dude there's definitely a metalcore influence. And if you don't think death metal like Obscura, Cryptopsy, or Gorguts is complex then you're just retarded.
