great album 5/5. Too short.

Great album,4.5/5 because not everybody will like it but other than that it couldn't be more perfect.

great album, best songs are undoubtedly Angel of Death and Raining Blood

^ what about criminally insane... i like that more than the 2 you mentioned.

I think that South of Heaven and Seasons in the Abyss are much better albums. In my opinion, RiB is a few awesome songs mixed with a bunch of mediocre songs.

Awesome review for an awesome album. One of my all time favourite albums. But far to short :upset:

Still a masterpiece. I can still pull it out and listen to every song. My new favourites are 'Epidemic' and 'Reborn'.

Still even if it's only a half hour, its a great half hour of speed-metal. Unless you want to listen to songs by Dream Theater and Opeth (Which are very lengthy but they're really good).

However, I really like this album a lot. I got it along with Ride the Lightning and ...And Justice For All last year. It was a gift along with the other 2 CDs, and I'm still hyper everytime I hear a song off that album.

Any of the songs played of that album live are made 20 times better. The energy and power when angel of death is played live is unrivaled.

I hope they play it at this year's Ozzfest. I'm definitely going to be full of hyperness if they play their really aggressive stuff.

No it's not... It's about Josef Mengale (or something) and how he performed all this horrific things on patients. And he got away with it scot-free - hence the line "Rancid Angel of Death, flying free".

Great review, awesome album. 5/5. This is the album that got me into speed/thrash metal, and just metal in general.
