Never quite got into Vermin. I'll give this a try though.

'Servants Of Satan's Monastry' is a monster tune on here. Not their best album by a long shot but it's still a nice, groovy listen.

I love this album and think it's their best but that's probably because I don't really like a majority of their past stuff.

I loved OMC's split with Dimmu. Did you ever listen to that one?

That split was awesome. I would say Vermin really does it for me. I enjoy the thrashy attack of that album.

I haven't heard the split with Dimmu Borgir but I'll definitely try to find it now.

Easy to find (and buy ; )) and worth getting. Both bands put on a great performance.

Hahahahaha Josh. YouTube is not a good way of listening to music, considering most music on the site sounds like it was played in a tin can. This isn't meant to be a wank fest of crazy guitar acrobats anyways. It's just meant as a good album to groove out to.

oh cmon...i just heard the title track..the intro has some crazy rhythm but the rest of the track is just so incomplete....and i dont get the reason why everyone compares them to dimmu...??...jus cause of the drummer...?...in musical they are quite different

The title track is the weakest track on here. The reason this band gets compared with Dimmu would probably have more to do with their similar (in the past) approaches to black metal. The shared members (which is currently just Galder) has much less to do with it since his style doesn't shine through very often on the Dimmu albums.

Pagan Prosperity is one of my favorite albums of all time... I liked Vermin, although not as much. I was pretty psyched to see that they released a new album, can't wait to give it a listen.

Good cd but I liked In Defiance of Existance and Vermin better. I need to get some of the older cds. All I have are the last 3 that have come out.

^^Agreed. However, this album does have some of Galder's best work to date on it.

Fantastic Album. I wasn't really into black metal, but after listening to all their albums I'm hooked. Much better than the overrated Cradle Of FIlth
