Haha, Big Mac is important because whenever I don't have the confidence to order something in another language, the good ol' Big mac is universal.

Marko, that is not rusty Croatian, that is fake Croatian. You've been found out... No wonder you are so friendly with the Serbs, you are one!

Holy $hit, I can't believe I just called a Cro "a serb". I better run & hide just in case. And I'm taking my extended family with me! ;-)

Another great Daveyboy review. Why would have I thought different?

Thanks Dougie. And that's a good question; Why would you have thought different?

Just home from watching Star Trek. Great film... & I am far from a fan of the whole Star Trek history. Really efficient in its storytelling & much funnier than I thought it would be. I might start pronouncing my user-name as DaWeyBoy after "Wictor wictor". Haha.

Haha. And that resulted from another funny line. Pine to Cho "So what hand to hand combat is your specialty?" Everyone expects karate, kung-fu, whatever. Cho replies with "fencing".

"It will be interesting to hear what direction they head in on Billy Talent III."

maybe they will pull a Led Zeppelin and make the 3rd album full of acoustic and rootsy songs?

And I have never watched Star Trek but plan on seeing it with some mates friday morning.

Haha. Billy Talent going all rootsy! I'm unsure even I would want to hear that Croc.

You'll like the movie Croc. You really don't need to know much about the series. I guess I should stop giving away funny lines now. Although I could give away the ending...

Gee Adam, "world's best song ever"! I'm unsure about that to be honest. And careful, that comment may suggest you think Billy Talent is the best pop-punk band around. If so, Croc will be all over you like a rash! Haha.

Thanks Adam, especially on the summary since I really wanted to say what I did, but thought it may be too awkward & wordy.

HAHA.

Ye it was just hyperbole for effect, it's not even the best song on here really ^^

When I first heard it though it was probably the least mainstream thing I'd ever heard (YES I USED TO BE A BAD PERSON) so I have fond memories of it.

LOL. Gee, that's a quick turn-around. From best song ever to not the best song on this album! Although, I think it is... & probably their 2nd best full stop (behind 'Try Honesty').

And by the way, why haven't you rated this album? "Bad Person" indeed!

I haven't heard all of it. Should I? If I like Devil, Red Flag and Where Is The Line? I'm guessing there's a good chance I will be into this?

Ummm, YES!!! I think you sort of answered your own question. And at the same time, give their debut a listen (if you haven't already).

I was just taking a look through your ratings Adam. Very interesting and we disagree on more albums than I thought we would. Especially when it comes to a few band's discographies and their order of best to worst albums. I won't hold it against you though. LOL.

In this case then I shall definitely check it out. Very soon indeed, in fact. ^^

Love this album, great review Davey.

Brent, 'Red Flag' is by far the most catchy song on here. That's why Billy Talent use it as their gig closer.

Although it does make one hell of a good gig closer it is no where near the best track on the album IMO.

nice review Davey. a bit short for my taste, but look who's talking, right?

as for the band, i've heard a few mp3 by them and liked it, finding them to be truly original for the spectre they belong to.

all in all, i'm pos'n. and i may go and listen to this album, too.

Funnily enough Kane, the 2 songs you list (along with 'Try Honesty' from the debut) are probably the tracks that won me over re: Billy Talent. Therefore, I guess I give your comment a tick of approval.

Thanks William. A couple of interesting picks as highlight tracks there. Maybe you have a thing for openers & closers.

Adam, LOL at "...you need help evaluating correctly". From memory, it was just the rankings of albums by Taking Back Sunday (I think their debut is over-rated), Bayside (I like their self-titled) & Jimmy Eat World (Bleed American > Futures). Not huge adjustments, so I think YOU can be successfully re-programmed by Doctor Davey.

Thanks Ross. Although you are wrong re: 'Red Flag'. Wrong, I tells ya.

Thanks Pedro. LOL re: a bit too short. I've been trying to get my reviews down to this length for months. I tell you; you can do it too. If you do end up listening to this and/or their debut, I'd be interested to know what you think of them.

Thanks Vilen. We had a fairly similar opinion of this when all was said & done. Looking forward to III.

You sick Marko? I have a 2 step process for gaining attention: (1) Review the occasional album that people have heard of, and (2) Be nice, because it's so different! Haha.
