True, but i have always said that if there was anybody that came even close to Hendrix's pure passion and originality that he brought to music, it would have to be steve vai. Vai's Lotus feet is one of the best guitar comps. that has been written in some time.

Music is clearly ultimately personal, but this person says Band of Gypsys is the top rock/funk album on the planet. I have listened to it every month, at least once, for the past forty plus years- Hendrix rules!
