Yeah, i half-assed the Anberlin review, and I shouldn't have. i know better. still, I wanted to re-establish my cred as a good reviewer. if this had happened outside the internet, i would've laid low for probably as long as a week. but here...well, i know what i can do.
and no, no-one has hijacked my account. i'll be going back to some hard rock and metal stuff soon. i've just been in a more "melodic" kind of mood.
as for emo...i heard the deftones and glassjaw were emo, although personally i disagree. mcr, fob and the red jumpsuit apparatus are sometimes called emo-core, which is a mixture of punk-pop with somewhat more "tortured" (i.e. whiny) vocals and a few screams and breakdowns.
