Alright cheers, suspected something like that but curiosity is a bitch. Also, Pokemon fails.

Pokemon fail? Here's me dropping the hammer( automatic neg vote). Just kidding, review was well written, i'm just glad to see a positive review of this up again. I really did not want to re-write one for this.

I withdraw my helpful statement due to your deflamatory comments towards Pokemon.

You should know that pokemon is considered a highly religious and spiritual force on sputnik. Questioning it's power and authority is sacreligious.

grammatical mistake in the first sentence of a review normally merits an auto-neg but it's quite good for a first....just watch the random band name dropping...pth has no reason to be here and tho tesseract has some similarity throwing it up randomly for bass audibility is kinda pointless...still a very good first review though i disagree with your opinion...

Thanks for your comment.
To me it seems a pretty harsh rule to use when you evaluate reviews that aren't written by someone whose mothertongue is English. And could you please mention my grammatical mistake as I'm not always able to recognize it by myself.
I'll bear the name dropping in mind, though I am of the opinion that when it's a useful comparison in context, and not purely musical content, there is no issue whatsoever. You're right that Protest the Hero has no reason to be here, but Rody Walker does as his unique voice usually has listeners torn over liking/disliking him. Though I guess this all comes down to the personal opinion of what warrants mentioning artist(s).

I love this album, I liked it more than ObZen tbh. The first three tracks and "To Erase A Life Time" are all phenomenal.

Cheers Will, I should've seen such an obvious mistake really. Ah well, it'll help me write my next reviews. I actually enjoy writing more than I would have thought.
And I agree bodom, Silhouettes is so much more competent than obZen. That album has a few incredible standout tracks but I would hesitate to use the words 'consistantly great'. I do think Storm Warning needs more loving though.
Also, go see this band when you can. They're incredibly tight and intense live.

Anyone ever have that you reread your first review after a while and then go 'wut?'. Tried way too hard writing this making it look a bit pretentious and it doesn't flow that well. Enough to improve on I guess, just gotta write more often.

I've heard a few off the previous two but they don't compare to the ones on this

Glad to hear you checked it out based on the review and found to like it! I agree with Jingle that Silhouettes is their best, but Drawing Circles is also really worth getting as it has some incredible songs (Stream of Consciousness, Regenesis, Upwards, Touching the Absolute).
That said, if you really like this I strongly suggest you check out TesseracT.

I think this is their best cd yet. I'm so glad they got a new vocalist starting with Drawing Circles. Their first cd, Polars, is great but that vocalist they had then had such a thin and one dimensional voice.
