totally. Remember the stray cats gig when they had fake blood everywhere and giant monsters breathing fire!

i heard one really good guest appearance from her on Hi-Tek's new album, while the one solo song i've heard by her was pretty bad, so i don't know what to think.

Arghhhh, DavID has gone all Crazy Frog on us... That's the last thing Sputnik needs. LOL at the WASP & Stray Cats comparison.
I still think that as a website SputnikMusic can appeal to a wider range of users... & that includes pop and R&B fans. Sure, there are a few people around here that will likely scare most of them off soon enough, but a few will stick & they are likely to be the ones that make the website stronger/bigger than it currently is.
Ahrimanic Trance, there is no doubt that a full album worth of Estelle may be too much for some. She definitely has the kind of voice that is extremely well-suited to guest appearances. Hell, she even made a recent Gym Class Heroes song sound pretty good!!! But there is enough variety on both her albums to suggest that if she can put it all together with a strong group of songs, then she could make one helluva great LP some day.

I guess that's why people like me write reviews... So I can tell you which of the songs are worth listening to.
|
| |
That is very true.
|

Bit of a random review Davey, must say i've only heard American Boy even though its not even on this album. lol at the Crazy Frog reference, i dare someone to review one of the Crazy Frog albums.
BTW, your Kangaroos have been up to a bit of no good lately havnt they Davey, haha.
|
| |
Haha Billy, I'd take you up on the crazy frog review, but I haven't heard it and neither do I want to xD
Edit: Hows this for a summary "Crazy Frog is a brutal assessment of mankind and the British pop-culture. Slowly rendering a whole nation insane with its madcap bleeps and average beats, it is clear to everyone who has heard this atrocity that people, in general, listen to complete shit."This Message Edited On 04.08.09

The random reviews are sometimes the best! And I have no idea what you are referring to regarding the Kangaroos Billy. Now leave me alone as I'm going to eat dinner... Now what can I have, what do I feel like? I know; I feel like Chicken Tonight... Like Chicken Tonight! Hahaha.
Definitely do NOT look at me for a Crazy Frog review. And Ross, you are over-complicating the summary there. I'd go with DavID's earlier & much more simplistic version:
ba ding ding ding ding DAA DAA

Haha, the sad thing is I'm actually growing to the idea of reviewing Crazy Frog.

Hopefully a few are hit with suspensions in time for the essendon game :D.
Ross, please, please review it, would be the funniest thing ever, especially if you make it extra serious. I would, but schools too crazy at the moment.

I have an old Crazy Frog single and haven't done a review in a while.

You know, all I did was ask whether or not Estelle's debut album charted in England. Somewhere along the way, Crazy Frog got involved in that answer. Now if a review arises out of all this, how the hell am I going to explain that to the Sputnik powers that be? Ahh, f**k it, Ross & Croc should both review it!
