You're right they've moved back to their roots - for the better. Enjoying this at the moment. Even the weaker tracks are somewhat listenable since its what I've wanted since their last mediocre release.

"thunder" is an amazing track and "colours" gets off pretty awful, but the chorus is really nice, kinda makes me trip a little.

I mean, sure listen to it, its ok, but seriously, theres no reason to when the Fat Of The Land or Jilted exist.

I don't see any reason to completely ignore it because the group has two popular albums already (I believe Howlett himself claimed he wasn't even really happy with the way Jilted turned out). I've played those albums to death, and whilst the group isn't going to have the impact they did back in those days there is some fresh material on here which i've found quite enjoyable. It's leanings towards the hardcore electronica of old filtered through a modern production is what I find most satisfying, at the very least.

Review is decent. Track-by-track is terrible in almost all cases as it doesn't describe the sound of the album.

Not a bad album, but a lot of fillers.

Warrior's Dance is sick. That's all I have to say about this album.

Still pretty cool, just not as original as they used to be, it was a little up and down, I thought there was a bit of a lull near the end but stand up closed it really well.

I'm a big prodigy fan but I hadn't listened to these last two albums in almost a year. Glad I revisited them (on a bit of a prodigy/chemical bros binge atm) because they're better than I remembered. They're not excellent but definitely fun/catchy records, IMD being a good deal better than always outnumbered.
