Listening to this now that I found out I'm seeing them open for the Weakerthans. Sounds pretty good half way through.

Always good to see this get some attention.

These guys were great live two nights ago. Overall just a passionate and tight set. Plus they covered Eye of the Tiger, which ruled.
|

Sounds fucking epic. The RAA would probably make it like subdued though, if that's possible.

I fell in love with this as soon as it was released. A favorite straight away.
And they are from Ontario, for anyone who thinks they are from Al Bertha.

Saw them play again last night, and this time they were headlining so the set was longer. Such a great
band.
And to the above poster, they're from Alberta, formed/based in Toronto.

I was ultra skeptical when it came to the Neutral Milk Hotel comparisons, because that's just my natural response to them, but I listened to this and all that changed. This is really good.

I'd be very skeptical, too. Yea they don't live up to 'em of course, but still great.

Say this at future shop, and was super stoked since ive liked this for so long.
It's been awesome to see them get the attention they've been getting, even with such a shitty band name.

First time I heard them, I almost thought I was listening to Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! or at least I was honestly convinced the singers were the same, but nope. great album, don't haunt this place is darkly powerful

I'm not a big indie guy, but I loved In the Aeroplane Over the Sea and asked a friend if he knew any similar sounding bands. He named RAA. Obviously not as good as Aeroplane, but not much is. Really good album.

These guys deserve so much more love. The new album is going to be so good, just heard a bunch of tracks at their show.
