yeah good album. i don't listen to this band that often though, if i would i wonder if i would like this less than the previous material. it seems pretty similar so i doubt it.

Biggest disappointment of the year for me so far. The Garden's All Nighters is the only thing that really stands out to me.

Hmm...the first four songs are great to me but the album really picks up to me after that.

It just seems bland to me. I do like the second half a bit more though.

Hmm...I don't know. Bland just isn't a word I expected to hear to describe this. Not to say you aren't paying enough attention but maybe listen to other things and in a week or so come back to this, maybe you'll notice things you didn't before. I know when I first heard Glory Kingdom on the MySpace I didn't think there was much to it then I listened to it again in the stream and I started noticing things I had no idea were there before.

I'm a big #12 fan, and to be honest if you like this band AT ALL, youll like this album.

Seeing them try new things and go in different directions with their music is a sign of them not wanting to make "Mongrel pt. 2", same with them making Mongrel not "Nuclear sad nuclear pt. 2".

Being experimental and unique are two reasons why they're appealing, and hearing this album a few times over makes it put itself right along their "journey" of songs. Complex, moody, and frenetic.

Good album.

No reason to not like it if you like any of their stuff.

It's right on par with what you will expect/want them to create.

something creepy.

something new.

something distinguishable to them.

I've never been a fan of grind or experimental music, but this review makes me want to check this album out. Pos'ed

They've been moving farther from grind with every release so to still classify them as grind just doesn't feel right to me. Experimental yes...as far as the grind aspect...I suppose math metal is the closest you can get with one classification.

Ah okay. I don't know all of the sounds they encompass but I've just always known them to be grind based off some of their older material. I must say, I really did like a couple songs off mongrel though, mainly jaywalking backwards, so i'm optomistic for this release

Jaywalking was definitely one of the best off Mongrel. If you liked Mongrel more than their older material then I would say you might enjoy this more than Mongrel, and if not then you'd at least enjoy it. So basically, get it.

The best parts are on par with the best parts of their previous albums for the most part, but this albums seems less consistent than the others. I'll try giving it another listen later though. I did like it more the second time through.

I'm in the process of amending the review. Just got my actual physical copy today and the gripe I had about the bass seeming to be less present doesn't apply when listening through a proper system. In fact, there's quite a bit that will go unnoticed if you don't listen to it through some quality speakers.

Glorious album.

They finally are growing out of their tight pants.

The Garden's All Nighter rules.

This album needs a full listen to grasp it.

Reminds me of Daughters "Hell Songs"

The Dillenger Escape Plan "Ire Works"

and "Mongrel" all in a blender.

Great stuff. Super review
