Vanity was my favorite record of theirs in high school but now its switched over to this. I still love Vanity but its songwritting is weaker and was more indicitive of the direction that Metalcore had sadly ended up at during the 2000s.

I don’t think Vanity is that much weaker except for some of the cleaner sections. It has some of their best riffs. This or Best Of... is probably my favorite from them.
