I have this theory, if you fight a man during the end of the Age of the Tide, only one of you will live to see the Glacial Planet.

I swear I'm starting to notice something odd in the production...it's like some mid frequency is completely missing or something. It's not really that detrimental, but it does get a bit irksome at points.

I almost enjoy this Monument over this.

If only the production were better.

The production is very good on here though.

Dunes and Glacial Planet are amazing!

i hear it too; the guitars just seem so hollow. it sounds as if the bass has not been turned up enough in the mix.

And this is definitely a top 5 album for me realistically.

Im going to re-do my top 25 and streamline it to top ten, and this will definitely be on it.

I'm trying to decide which to buy, this or Traced in Air?? I listened to a few songs on this around the time it came out and loved them, I also hear that traced in air is kinda' overrated... what do you think?

Definitely this. Traced In Air is one of those widely renowned and popular release you'll probably be able to find a friend with it to borrow. Whereas not many know about this, but it is such a fantastic release.

the sad thing is... all my friends have an affinity for horrible music (eg: BFMV, Disturbed, The Devil Wears Prada, 3Oh!3)

@Where is My Mind.

You are crazy. I am probably the only person in a 2,000 mile radius that owns Traced In The Air.

@TRMshadow

That is mainstream US metal. It is all very trendy just as nu metal was 10+ years ago. It will slow down eventually, then some other trash will infect the youth's ears.

although it is a wasted dream, I wish that humanity would finally grow a good pair of ears. why is it that the worst music automatically becomes the most popular?
