I think it's pretty clear that's not what the song's about.

Green Day are a good band. Some of the dookie-era stuff is really amazing.

Brain Stew wasent that bad. Longview is my fav. song on the album, its different from the other songs on the album. The lyrics are hilarious and its got a great intro.

I don't understand why the reviewer said "The bass doesn't come in until the prechorus, like most of Green Day's songs" in "She." It's the first instrument featured, and it's usually the GUITAR that doesn't come in until the prechorus. Confused? I am.

I think this was a far from good review. The guy misconstrued everything.

i have this album, all songs on it are rated 4 star or 5 star, most are 5 star. i dont even like pop/punk rock

i love green day, and they're probably one of my favourite bands.

interesting fact- ''brain stew'' was the 1st song i ever learned. it's pretty cool, imho.

One note to the due writin the review, you didnt express the wierdness on the basket case line, you need to mention the next line or to it says " I went to a whore, HE said my lifes a bore, And quit my whining 'cause it's bringing HER down" my friends i present a song that involves a transsexual (think thats what you call em) whore

this album is great, it so gd to play at a party, it gets everyone awake and alive nd dancin anround nd when your pissed its so much better. it so fun nd great. its a must have greenday cd

This album is about as essessial to any Green Day fan as your legs are to walking. Get this CD NOW!!! The whole thing is what everyone seems to refer to as 'their old stuff' which i suppose it is, but the best thing is they didn't just take the tracks off the old cd's, they actually recorded them again for this cd, which is more than can be said for some people.



This is more of a compilation of their best songs really, so to say that a song doesn't fit in isn't really fair, because they're not supposed to be like each other.

Anywho, go down to your local cd shop and get this now.

wtf Good Riddance isnt about suicide, its about this girl who he broke up with moving to ecquador...anyway i dont feel this album is really necessary if you have all the albums that are featured

Desensitzed. Man this album is definetly not easlily a 5. When you consider the fact that therea are albums out there like "Appetite For Destruction", "Zeppelin II" and "Master Of Puppets that have like 4.7 there's no way this album deserves a 5
