Sin City is overrated but still really good. Pretty good, if generic top 10 movie list . Pulp Fiction would probably be on mine too, not sure about the rest.

I REALLY need to see Pan's Labyrinth though.

If you could do a review on any of the above scores, I'd love it, because I like your reviewing style: short, sharp and shiny.

I might do one on Koyaanisqatsi some time soon. Great film and score.

The score is pretty good, so this might be a good download.

This movie wasn't that great, but the score was pretty good.
Pan's Labyrinth, on the other hand, is fantastic.

It's been a long time since I've seen this movie, but I remembered I was one of the few among my friends that actually liked it.

300 pwns this, though.

Sin City > 300, and since Sin City is just merely good...

300 is just pure violence and sex, with awesomely cheesy lines.

I doubt that 300 is better.

Pan's Labyrinth was really good.

300 was shit IMO, including its score. Too psychedelic and derivative for a movie with a specific (shit-coloured, lol) tone to it.
Pan's Labyrinth is perfect, that it didn't win Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars is nothing short of blasphemy. It just proves how little the Academy actually gets right. MAJOR hiccup giving the Best Score to Gustavo Santaolalla, Javier Navarrete's score for Pan's Labyrinth was infinitely more moving and mystifying. Santaolalla's score for Brokeback Mountain was breathtaking in its simplicity and honesty, but the score for Babel is just boring and repetitive. I love playing The Wings on the piano :D.
Sin City is very good. I can't use any other word to describe the saxophone in this score other than totally SLEAZY! Sets the mood of the film very very well. Listening to the score first before seeing the film I believe would be just as exhilarating (spelling?) as the film itself.
My top ten films list is probably different now. It would probably be something like:
1. Donnie Darko
2. Pulp Fiction
3. Pan's Labyrinth
4. Reservoir Dogs
5. From Dusk Till Dawn
6. Brokeback Mountain
7. Psycho (1960)
8. Requiem For A Dream
9. Kill Bill
10. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
My favourite scores are still the same.
Yes, I am a massive QT and RR fan.
