his voice isnt good...its really sore and has a grunge sound to it. all the cigarettes reduced it to a low growl, and it sounds great like that. ever notice that whenever a band covers a Nirvana song, the instrumental sounds fine but the singer just kills it?

I only have one Nirvana Album (Greatest Hits) And I loved The Man Who Sold The World. That track alone is enough to make me buy this album. But I heard a sample at FYE of Pennroyal Tea and it freaked me out. I'm still undecided if I want this album yet

It's a Leadbelly cover. This is the only version Nirvana did.

I think his voice is unique and fantastic, but not what one would call a "Good" voice. I think The "In Utero" Era was very dark, Nevermind was for some reason not my favorite, and Bleach's production isn't good for me. This is my favorite album ( I just got it 3 days ago.)

I really liked "On A Plain." One of the most awesome songs on the album. You didn't give a rating for "Where Did You Sleep Last Night," or at least I didn't see one, but I'm sure it would've been a perfect score. You can just feel the intensity in Kurt's voice. It's amazing. Is "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" a hidden track on the "Greatest Hits" album, because I don't have it on my CD? Oh well, I have it on the "Unplugged" album, and that's all that matters.

Here's a reason not to like On A Plain: The song was written to be a filler on the album, and the lyrics are all about how Kurt had to come up with lyrics in less than five minutes, so all of them are inside jokes or about how he doesn't have words to the song.
And Polly is one of Nirvana's best songs, the only way not to like it is to not understand it (the song is very easy to understand though.)

you make a good point polly is a great song and id say this album just showed that they are musicans i mean in all reality playing an all acoustic show you have to be somewhat good because acoustic you screw up and its heard but like normal grunge you can mess up and it just goes with the distortion this is my opinion though oh yea and its not the only album that they do where did you sleep last night its on some outcesticides and on the box set
