It's albums like this (and there's a bunch of them) that prevented me from ever doing a top of '08 list. They just kept showing up and busting into my top 10 and I couldn't decide on anything. But this is definitely one of the best albums from last year.

What I heard from their myspace is quite good. The BM seems even more traditional than what's found here though, and the acoustic breaks aren't as good. Still gonna get that album though.This Message Edited On 02.09.09

Just caught a flub of mine, at the end of the second paragraph when I said "riffs that fluctuate only slightly" I meant the acoustic strumming. Doesn't make sense if I say the riffs (tuning) change only slightly and then the next paragraph I'm saying they change quite a bit. They use very small variations in tone and pitch in the soft sections, and much more noticeable ones in the heavier sections. Hence the awesomeness.

Haha I wish I found this. Got it from Txus on the Listening Now forum. Spun this about 4 times before I rated it, gave it a 4, listened about 4 or 5 more times, upped it. I really just enjoy every second.

I've had this for a while and listened to it a few times but I still don't know how I feel about it. Not in the mood for it now though.
