She Was My Girl was one of the first alt-rock songs I ever heard when I was a kid because of the 2002 Spider-Man soundtrack ❤️

Criminally underrated. This is by far my favorite post-Layne release from Jerry. Songs like "Feel the Void" and "Dying Inside" sound like classic AIC.



I also love the crushing heaviness of a lot of these songs like "Spiderbite", "Pig Charmer", "Owned" and "Bargain Basement Howard Hughes".

Woke up to Siddhartha and it reminded me every time I get bored of Alice there’s basically five great Jerry solo records I can still jam. Alice In Chains is (rightfully) a very popular band even to this day but it’s still feels like Jerry never got his due.

I’ve never fucking listened to this, and AiC is one of my favorite bands.

Better to start with the original release, or is it a case of might as well check this one and this one only?

Don’t even bother with the “original”. The studio didn’t have faith in a double album so they cut half the tracks and that was what got released first.
