hm. review was ok. agreed that you didn't get into the album itself enough.
i agree with you on the very first point: so ironic that he's clearly baby oil-ed up but apparently that makes you tough. i really, really don't like 50 cent. there's like 2 records he's made that i've liked, and those are always more for the people featured on them than himself. i hate his style, he's not a good lyricist at all. quite frankly, he sucks. "patiently waiting" is awesome for em and 50, its like the only track worth listening to. i like "many men" too for an odd unforseen reason.
This is precisely the kind of album that is bad for the state of hip hop.
i might not have gone that far, though... but yeah after thinking about it... yeeeeeaaah a little bit true. This Message Edited On 01.13.09

Wow, you chuck your reviews out quickly don't you. Been a user 4 days and you already have seven reviews, makes me feel lazy, although I do think you should take a ddeep breath, stop posting (you should really only post one review a day at maximum, 2-3 a week is a good solid pace), and read the comments on your reviews instead of going head first into another. This way you will learn to improve your writing style, and your reviews in general. The people posting are only trying to help when they give you critiscisms, you do know that don't you?
As for the review itself, it is fairly decent, although I agree with the others when I say it needs more. You have some good ideas, and if you could describe the music more then that would be great. With that said, we all have to start somewhere, and my first reviews were no better than this. Also, not sure what others think, but I'm not a fan of all the hyperlinks, they annoy me.
Edit: Wow, didn't mean to come across as smug as I did there, sorry for that.

dude I know that writing reviews is cool, but slow down a little bit. You don“t have the obligation to review every hip-hop album. And like mutated said: Look at the criticism. Most people are only trying to help you.

As much as I dislike this no-talent, 'In da Club' alone lifts this above a 1.
